ATLANTA (March 3, 2010) Nfinity, the first women’s performance team sport company, announces today the launch of its newest cheerleading shoe, the Phoenix.

Nfinity, the first women’s performance team sport company, announces today its partnership with the National Cheerleading Association, (NCA). This partnership launches Nfinity into an arena of cheerleading expertise, giving the company additional exposure in its niche market.
Through its partnership with NCA, Nfinity took over a sponsorship that has only been previously held by such companies as Asics and Nike. NCA is the oldest cheerleading competition company in the spirit industry and was the first to develop many of the industry standards, such as competitions, camps and the original pom pon. Nfinity will now become the official shoe for the NCA National All-Stars and College competitions, two of the largest and most prestigious competitions in the nation. Nfinity is providing the NCA staff with its newest shoe, the Phoenix, and the Nfinity team will be in attendance at both NCA All-Star Nationals in Dallas and NCA College Nationals in Daytona to further promote the partnership.
Mary Thompson Joins Atlanta-based Footwear Company
Nfinity, the first women’s performance team sport footwear company, is pleased to announce that one of girls’ basketball’s biggest advocates has joined the Nfinity team. Mary Thompson will lead Nfinity’s efforts with AAU and high school girls’ basketball teams.Thompson joins Nfinity after nearly a decade with Nike. Under her watch, Nike took the lead in national tournaments and skills academies for girls. Now she brings her passion for girls’ basketball to Nfinity and its unique line of footwear for female basketball players.
Atlanta-based Footwear Company Makes Largest Single Donation to Local Charity
Nfinity, the first women’s performance team sport company, announced today that they are donating over 3,300 pairs of shoes to Atlanta-based charity, Destiny, Inc. The donation is the largest single contribution in the charity’s history with a value of approximately $150,000. Destiny, Inc. will reallocate the shoes to local impoverished youth and homeless families.

Over the course of my High School, College, and Club volleyball career, I have probably worn close to every brand of volleyball shoe on the market. There were some brands I liked, and some I vowed never to wear again. Recently, I won a pair of Nfinity shoes through Twitter and I think I may have finally found “my brand”. I really like the fact that the Nfinity shoes are light, comfortable, and not bulky like most other brands I have worn; and I don’t have to sacrifice the support and traction I expect from court shoes.

Nfinity, the first team sport company to engineer footwear for the female athlete, celebrates the successful launch into its first traditional retail store, The Athlete’s Foot (TAF) in Avon, Indiana. The launch event took place in the TAF store on Saturday October 17th from 2-4 pm. WNBA Indiana Fever star point guard, Tully Bevilaqua was in attendance signing autographs and greeting fans. The store was packed during the event, the line extending out the door, and sales exceed expectations.
